WELCOME TO
Peppermint Footcare
You expect to maybe have arthritis, heart disease or poor eyesight creep up on you, but no-one tells you that you won’t be able to trim your own toenails. It’s like your feet get further away. Your back aches; your knees and hips don’t bend like they used to; you cant find your glasses and your hands are stiff. Its only toenails, but if they’re long or something hurts, like toothache, you can’t get away from it. You need comfortable feet to be able to walk around and do daily tasks like cleaning and cooking. You need your shoes to fit comfortably to be able to leave the house for work, shopping and appointments. You don’t need to suffer when there are people like me who can help and now you’ve found me. If I cant help, I can help get you in touch with someone who can. Hopefully, after just your first appointment you will feel relief and utter those sweet words ‘Its like walking on air’
I have been in practice since 2007 and took over from my late father who trained as a chiropodist in 1993. Originally living and working in Tonbridge, Kent, I moved to Cornwall in 2014, to Newlyn and Penzance. I have recently settled in the Carclaze area of St Austell and spend my days happily zooming around the beautiful countryside, visiting my clients in West Cornwall and now have availability closer to home in the surrounding areas of St Austell.
I’m thorough and methodical and try to treat everything that needs attention, viewing the person as a whole, to improve comfort and well being. It is also an opportunity to chat and relax. I want it to be an appointment you look forward to, with patients sometimes referring to me as their foot-friend, the foot-fairy and even their foot health psychiatrist.
HOW TO FIND US

I will come to you! This means that people who find it difficult to leave the home can access treatment without needing to rely on others to help, you can save time on travel and avoid the stress of parking.
I’ll need a stool or armless chair to sit on please. A side table is useful and an area with good lighting is best. If you have a recliner chair or a pouffe, that’s wonderful, if not, I have a very comfort leg rest that I can bring in. I recommend a towel or newspaper on the floor too, for easy tidying up when I’ve finished.
